Improv 4 Kids is the only improv troupe designed exlusively JUST for kids!
The troupe is founded by it's parent company, "Eight is NEVER Enough!". Co-Founders Walt Frasier and Laurice Fattal developed Improv 4 Kids in the spring of 2004 with the mission of bringing a new and fresh concept to kids through the art of improvisation, music, storytelling, dance, pantomime and theatre. Improv 4 Kids allows younger audiences to learn about comedy arts while being involved in the creative process. Throughout the show, children give the performers ideas every 3 minutes to decide what each scene is going to be about. Then the players take those original ideas and kick out hilarious songs, dances and sketches. Each show is unique and different based on the imagination of younger audiences.
In the spring of 2007, Improv 4 Kids became the official outreach program for kids at the Laugh Factory and Times Square Arts Center. Improv 4 Kids has played over 500 public and private performances and the touring company plays elementary schools throughout the NY Tri-state area and hosts dozens of field trips for school groups every month in Times Square.
